Melbourne - The City Which Lived.

Source
Its the refreshing memoirs of brawling animals which you might witness in the Melbourne Zoo, Victoria or the shouting souls, screaming passions and yelling eyes observing the greatness of sport being played at, what is famously known as MCG or Melbourne Cricket Ground. Words are too less to describe the liveliness, spread along every inch of nine thousand and nine hundred square kilometers of Melbourne. A privilege and an honor to know the fact that it has been voted, and ranked as the world's most livable city since 2011, by Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU). We take no credits away, it has deserved that place, a place renowned for luxuries, happiness, and what we merely thrive in today's time - Life.

It is the second most populous city of Australia, and rightfully so,  there are reasons to it.
The beautiful Werribee Mansion makes you travel back to 19th century, delivering messages of past and of, simplified yet, mystically beautiful nature. The mansion consists of a separate 5-star luxurious accommodation which not only makes you feel like a royal petition attached to your living, but also, the gleaming beauty which it provides to your eyes. Not far away, lies another magnanimous location, The Victoria State Rose Garden, which also won the prestigious 'World Federation of Rose Societies Award For Garden Excellence' acclamation, which did a justice to its different world aura of giant shaped rose which mesmerizes every soul present at a point.

There are way too many reasons to love this city, than to put them down on paper. Apart from the excellence it has reached in terms of education, entertainment, healthcare, research and development, sports and tourism, it has also received some well-known acclamation for the quality of life it serves to its in-habitats

Located on the large natural bay - Port Philip, it delivers an unmatched experience in having a look at the sea-life. The Sea Life Melbourne Aquarium, located on 'Corner King Street & Flinders Street' Melbourne is a home to thousands of Aquatic Creatures, one of which, also includes, Australia's largest salt water crocodiles. An interactive aquarium, realizes the wonder range, from Icy waters of Antarctica to the depths of the blue kingdom. Its home to the creatures well known to the world, as the mighty birds of Antarctica, Penguins. The aquarium houses a playground for the same, so that you do not miss a chance to get a glance of the heaven so called. The streaming location of Melbourne also houses, a spectacular analytic place called Australian Shark and Ray Centre. It gives you an experience to feed the stingrays and sharks. Such moments are worth preserving for a lifetime, and Melbourne is such a place that a single lifetime, won't be suffice to witness the greatness it consists.

There a beautiful saying, a place's habitats are often the derivations from the cultures it has held back in past, the historic values, which it has passed from one generation to another, and with every curve of change, it learns something innovative and then, like an old man teaching values to his children, passes on the knowledge for the generation ahead. Somewhat similar has been the journey of Melbourne, talking about the historical values, we take a look to one of the glorious Melbourne Museum, located on the Carlton Gardens, Victoria. It showcases Australia's ever-lived history and social importance, with its developing cultures. Winner of 'Australian Tourism Awards For Best Tourist Attraction In Australia' in 2011. It is known for celebrating Victoria's local Koorie cultural celebrations. One can witness the art and history in Melbourne's Story Exhibition here.

There are new and innovative places coming, in order to experience the natural, and the much-worked beautiful architecture which is built over the ages. One such observatory is Melbourne Star Observation Wheel which allows you to have a look at the places, from a place we all wanted to be in, through a flying experience. It gives a new perspective which inculcates a unique experience of history, culture and a blend of both. And this is just not it, there are places whose experience can only be felt, and not be written in text, some of the places which include the Melbourne Cricket Ground, the Museum which we talked about above, the exhilarating Zoo, and the beautiful and yet National Gallery of Victoria.

Street Art, (Source)
Talking about the cultures, it includes various festivals, live celebrations, Street cultures and many more. In particularity, in 2010, Melbourne's street art was named as the world's best street view by International Times Magazine. Prior to which, in 2008, its Street View Cultures were voted as the best by lonely planet's readers. Australia's ballet centre Melbourne, celebrates many more live performances which can be marketed only through the distances of eyes to the souls connecting them.

So, if someone asks, What's my reason for falling in love with the Melbourne? I would most instinctively say, "Its the city itself, Melbourne".

We have made a small list to the places we found to be much more better experienced than written about, here it is:-

  • Old Melbourne Gaol
  • Eureka Skydeck 88 - for a reason that the top floor matches the number in the name.
  • Queen Victoria Market
  • Werribee Open Range Zoo
  • Crown Entertainment Complex
  • Federation Square
  • Royal Botanic Garden
Its truly amazing, what beauty these places with-hold inside them, and as I already mentioned, one lifetime won't be suffice to enthrall yourself with the amusing and spectacular beauty of Melbourne. I was delighted to see Tourism Victoria Website with all its glory.
